KelpDAO Hacker Swaps $175 Million in Ether Into Bitcoin
The KelpDAO hacker has swapped nearly all of its 75,700 Ether into Bitcoin over roughly a day and a half, converting holdings worth about $175 million. The cross-chain swaps were routed primarily through THORChain, and the scale of the transactions generated about $800 million in volume and roughly $910,000 in fee revenue for the platform.
