Bitmine Lifts Staked Ether to $8.35 Billion
Separate tallies showed Bitmine increasing its ether staking over the past 24 hours with a 98,352 ETH transaction worth about $229 million and another valued at $178.42 million. One estimate put the company's staking over the period at $354.53 million, while its overall staked ether was placed at 3,587,821 ETH, or about $8.35 billion.
That amounts to more than 70% of Bitmine's holdings, with one tally putting the share at 72.1%. Bitmine also controls more than 4.1% of Ethereum's total supply, bringing it closer to a 5% target.
