U.S. ends Iran oil waivers and threatens secondary sanctions on Chinese banks
Washington escalated its oil pressure campaign by refusing to renew Russian and Iranian crude waivers, sanctioning Shamkhani-linked shipping actors, and warning Chinese banks and other intermediaries that Iran-linked transactions could trigger secondary sanctions.
